A resident in the Scenic Hill neighborhood reported that on the night of Wednesday, September 9, a man came by his house and knocked on the door wanting to clean his carpet. The homeowner reported that he was driving down the road a few minutes later and ran into a Kent Police officer and told him the story. He said he ID'd one of the guys and told them to leave because they didn't have a license to sell in Kent. The homeowner also reported that this person displayed a business card and when the homeowner said he would take it, the person pulled it back and left.
